Audio and Tactile Tour of The Charge that Binds at ACCA

Loom Arts and Management are thrilled to be partnering with the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art for a free audio described tour with tactile elements, for their current exhibition ‘The Charge That Binds’.

Celebrating the dynamism, vitality and power of natural phenomena and the more-than-human world, ‘The Charge That Binds’ reminds us of what is at stake at a time of ecological emergency. Infused with both optimism and grief, the exhibition draws together works that celebrate a world composed of multifaceted, multispecies relations and pulses.

Join Zoe Boesen on Saturday 1 March 2025, from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and experience the exhibition through detailed audio descriptions and tactile elements.

Tickets are free but you can secure a spot at: https://events.humanitix.com/audio-description…/tickets

A still image from a digital video work by Sorawit Songsataya with white text overlaid, reading: AUDIO DESCRIBED TOUR. The image features a close-up section of a cylindrical, biological looking object against a dark background. The object almost fills the entire frame with a horizontal band of shimmering purple centred between gradient shades of red, pink and blue. The surface looks slightly translucent with iridescent colours showing an intricate pattern of fine, organic lines which are reminiscent of capillaries or a network of tiny cracks. There are white logos for Loom and ACCA at the bottom of the image.
