Georgia Cranko in DADAA’s 448 Psychosis Development

Georgia Cranko has been a part of a three-stage creative development of 4:48 Psychosis by Sarah Kane, produced by DADAA, with support from the Australia Council for the Arts and Jenny Sealey, Artistic Director of Graeae Theatre Company UK. This project, which has been in development since 2020 has echoed the global disruption to the arts over the past two and half years and speaks to the central act of adaptation that artists are so adept at, as well as the critical need for connected, disability-led, artistic practices. The third and final stage of development has been taking place at Northcote Town Hall and will have a small showing at the end of the process.

Director- Jenny Sealey. Artists- Georgia Cranko, Sarah Houbolt, Michael Moshos, Matt Shilcock.

Supported by Australia Council for the Arts.

The image is a photo of director Jenny Sealey and Georgia Cranko standing close together, engaged in conversation. Jenny is on the left and is an older woman with light grey shoulder length hair, wearing glasses on her head and is dressed in a dark loose fitting charcoal shirt. She has an expressive face and her mouth is open as if she is speaking. Georgia is on the right with darker hair, pulled back and is wearing a hoodie. They are smiling and looking towards Jenny. In the background, there is another person, Matt, who is slightly out of focus wearing glasses and also dressed in dark clothing. The setting appears to be a stage.
