Kate Hood stars in MTC Caryl Churchill Double Bill

Kate Hood stars in a world-first pairing of two separate works from one of the world’s greatest living playwrights, Caryl Churchill at Melbourne Theatre Company. Artistic Director Anne-Louise Sarks directs Escaped Alone, a visionary play about afternoon tea and the apocalypse and What If If Only, the micro-meditation on grief and possibility.

Playing at the Melbourne Theatre Company Sumner Theatre from 7th August – 9th September 2023.

The image is a production photo from 'Escaped Alone'. It shows a scene with four older women sitting in a row. They are surrounded by tall grass and wildflowers, giving the impression of being in a meadow or a field. The background is completely black, making the scene and people stand out. Each of the women is dressed in casual, somewhat rustic clothing. From left to right sit Helen Morse, Deidre Rubenstein, Kate Hood and Debra Lawrance.
