‘State of Emergence’ Panel at Emerging Writers Festival

Loom is delighted to be presenting the “State of Emergence” panel at this year’s Emerging Writers Festival in collaboration with Writers Victoria.

This event will feature a discussion between writers and creatives Natalie Williams, Renay Barker-Mulholland, Heidi Everett, and Loom’s own Olivia Muscat.

Together they will discuss their experiences as artists with disability in a seemingly constant stage of emergence. Their discussion will touch on their respective experiences in the publishing industry: from pitching articles to writing residencies, the publishing process to getting paid for their work.

The panel will be held on Thursday 12th September at 11am at The Wheeler Centre, Performance Space Level 2, 176 Lt Lonsdale Street, Melbourne. Tickets are free but bookings are essential (please book here). Alternatively, you can watch the event live via the Writers Victoria Youtube.
