Biography

Nicole Tsourlenes is a Melbourne-based artist with disability who specialises in photographic and digital works. She is a founding member of the Nimbus Studio, an inclusive visual arts studio run by Arts Access Victoria, and is currently represented by Loom Artist and Management.

Nicole’s work focuses largely on capturing the world around her. She has an interest in photographing movement and angles because they reflect a sense of mystery. She has a large body of creative work as well as urbanscapes, portraits and abstract photographic images. 

Nicole has exhibited widely across Melbourne including at Monash Art Gallery, No Vacancy Gallery and Neon Parlour Gallery. She has a wealth of commercial photography experience including for Darebin City Council photographing artists at Bundoora Homestead Art Gallery, as well as work with Medibank Private, PTV and the Communication Resource Centre. 

Nicole holds a Certificate IV in Photography and Photo Imaging. Nic is currently working on a portraiture project funded by the City of Melbourne.
