Jimmy from Thornbury ‘Failure to Launch’ Launch

Jeremy Hopkins, aka Jimmy from Thornbury, is heading to the Bergy Bandroom to launch his debut album ‘Jimmy from Thornbury’ on the 24th of October.

As someone working in the music industry with autism, Jeremy has often felt like an outsider looking in. Jimmy from Thornbury walks a delicate line between music and comedy, and helps us consider and laugh about some of the music industry’s long-standing issues and stereotypes. Each song on the album is a different musical genre, often extending to parodying the music itself.

Come and meet all your favourite characters from Jimmy’s debut album in this all-singing, all-dancing comedy music extravaganza.

The evening will be a celebration of diversity with special guests Artemis Muñoz and Katie Dey.

The Bergy Bandroom is located at 64 Sydney Road Brunswick and is wheelchair accessible.
